Jesus Birthday Month, Time to Celebrate

Every Sunday is the Lord's Day, and we are to live for Jesus Everyday. But there is just something special, miraculous about December. Let's all celebrate and tell Jesus how much we love Him and appreciate all that He has done and is doing for us.
What can we give Jesus on His Birthday?
Any Ideas?

Jesus Birthday Month

What a great time of year!
We get to talk about Jesus and why God the Father sent Him to earth. It was all for our good. God the Father sent Him to bless us. To give us light and life and love. They are all good things that we can meditate on and receive from the Father because of Jesus coming to earth.
Lets thank God today for all the good things He has placed in this world.
Oh, and Happy Birthday Month Jesus!

God is rebuilding His temple

God is rebuilding His temple!
The Lord told the people of Israel through the prophet Haggai ch.1 v5-7 “Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” This is what the Lord Almighty says; “Give careful thought to your ways.”
I have taken this scripture very seriously. God has done a new work in me and has called me to holiness and wholeness in Him. God is interested in rebuilding His temple that means us personally and us united as the church or bride of Christ. As we are moving in this new adventure we are seeing the stirrings of the Holy Spirit, there is a strong presence of God and God is adding to His church.
Right now I am in a process of dyeing to self and surrendering to the will of God on a daily basis. God does not want to share His temple with any other spirit. We are born again so that the Holy Spirit can fill us and overflow us. If any other spirit is occupying the temple we hinder and hurt the work of God. God desires to establish His work and once we lineup with His will and way of doing things He can get on with establishing His kingdom. I am fully committed to God and His purpose and plan. We are rebuilding the temple and would love to have you join us.
Torn between two worlds, only one will save you. I know.

Thought for Thanksgiving!

This is a glorious day in North beach Ventnor NJ. There is no time like fall to go out and smell the fresh air. Go for a walk and talk to God out loud. List all the things you are thankful for then all the good things you are hopefully believing. Then the best list all; the good things that God has done in you, thank Him for the person He has made you and then say out loud with conviction "I approve of the person you have made me Heavenly Father, thank you that I am unique and special to you!" "Lord I surrender to Your creativity, keep up the good work and keep working on me."
God our heavenly Father loves you and is on your side. He wants the very best for you and is always watching out for your good.
Please let me know how I can be in agreement for your good.
God bless you real good

Expect a Miracle

That is what the Lord told me when I was crying out to Him in my pain. St. John of the Cross writes about the dark night and the cloud of unknowing. When you can’t see God or feel His presence, when nothing makes sense and you just don’t know what to do, so you cry out to God: “Lord Jesus son of David, have mercy on me!”

The beauty of going through trials and tribulation is that God is with you. He has a plan to not only help you but to bring you out a better person. He wants to show His glory and the way He does that is to     reveal it in us and through us.

I had read about dying to self and had prayed about it and now I am experiencing it. The Lord told me, if we are going to experience miracles, that I must die to self, to identify with the crucified Christ. As Paul put it, “I have been crucified with Christ” - Galatians 2:20. Ok, so here I am seeing myself crucified with Christ. I believe in faith that I am dead to sin. I am saying “I am crucified with Christ, I am dead to sin.” Then temptation comes along and the flesh jumps up in me. Then I am saying, “what happened to dead to sin?” I thought dead meant dead with no response. But here the Lord reminds me that it is by faith and faith by definition is the substance of things hoped for. So, like everything else, I have to work on being dead. Therefore, I am practicing it, seeing it, claiming it and sometimes actually experiencing it. Galatians 5:24 - “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified that sinful nature with its passions  and desires.”

Now I am working on that and the Lord says that is Step One. If that isn’t hard enough, read the next part of the verse: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me”- Step Two. So, by faith, I believe and am seeing Christ Jesus living in me and I ask the Lord Jesus, “what do you want to do?” He says, “I want to be the head of my church; I want to build my church; I want to do it by the proclaiming of the word with miracles and wonders and signs following. Yes, I will do it by my Spirit, says the Lord!”

And so that is what we are doing! We are getting out of the way so that Jesus can love his people, His church and do miracles. And that is just what He is doing! The Way of Life Church is once again truly becoming a house of prayer where people are coming to meet Jesus and receiving a miracle.

When you come, please don’t look at the preachers or the leaders or the people. Look for Jesus and see what He wants to do in you. If you come seeking, you will find! If you come asking, He will answer! If you come knocking, He will open the door. The Bible says that Jesus healed them all, fed them all and He is doing the same things today! Yes! Jesus is still in the Miracle Business. We are getting testimonies in every service of the miracles that Jesus is doing. Come to HIM EXPECTING A MIRACLE! That is what I am doing and that is what I am getting! Thank You,  Lord for Your Grace and Mercy.

And you have to understand this. He does not give us the miracles because we deserve them nor because we have earned them. He doesn’t withhold them because we are not good enough. He does them because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross and because our Heavenly Father is a loving, caring God. He loves you so much! He will not withhold any good thing from you. He lavishes His love on you. So start believing, start expecting. This is our time to know the presence and the power of the one true, living, loving God! When we mix our belief and faith with action, we see the miracle.
